Golf Course
There is an area of about 210 acres which could be developed into a destination golf course. The market study has shown that the area could support such a venue very well. Twelve existing courses within the immediate area were surveyed, with only six offering 18 holes at present. Only two are considered to be of good quality, therefore an major opportunity exists for a world class venue to be developed. Well-known golf course architects have been contacted for initial review of Clearwater Preserve with that use in mind.

The concept of a destination golf course and resort could easily lead to additional waterfront development concepts such as a major Clubhouse with dining facilities, additional activities such as tennis and platform tennis, and the potential for a private/semi-private membership base. Such a course could have the potential to be designed to host regional golf events.
