The seven hundred acres which comprise Clearwater Preserve
occupy one of the most sought after locations in the upper
Midwest. Located moments from the southern shore of Lake Erie
directly on beautiful Sandusky Bay, the site is within a three
hour drive of over ten million people.
Beyond the natural beauty and abundant fresh water, the region
provides important and easy access to an enormous variety
of recreational, cultural, educational and entertainment venues
associated with the larger population centers. Close proximity
to major highways including the Ohio Turnpike, I-71 and I-75
enables area residents make this location highly desirable.
Located slightly over an hour to the east, Cuyahoga County
and the greater Cleveland area offers a diverse world class
city with a wide range of cultural, entertainment, and educational
venues. With a growing population, the area is one
of Ohio’s treasures on the shore of Lake Erie. Major
league teams include the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns
and Cleveland Cavaliers in addition to dozens of other activities.
Less than an hour to the west, Toledo offers a world class
art museum, an outstanding Zoo, the University of Toledo,
one of the finest minor league ballparks in America, and dozens
of entertainment venues.
About ninety minutes to the northwest, the city of Detroit
is home to all major league sports including the Detroit Tigers,
Lions, Pistons and Red Wings. The “Motor City”
also boasts an impressive art museum, Detroit Zoo, live theatre,
casino gambling, and major concert destinations.
Clearwater Preserve is very convenient for private aircraft,
with the public Erie-Ottawa Regional Airport less than a mile
away. It’s almost like having your own airport right
next door--which means a lot less travel time!
The largest airport between Cleveland and Toledo, it is very
popular with pilots. Featuring 5,000 ft. and 4,000 ft. crossing
runways, it will accommodate virtually any type of aircraft
from private planes to all sizes of business jets. |
